At Onify, we are passionate about simplifying and automating what otherwise takes unnecessary time. Since the start, our motto has been to "automate yourself out of your job". Not to get rid of your job, of course, but to free up time for what actually makes a difference.
Onify was founded in 2017 by Robert Lundsten, who after many years as a solution architect saw a clear need. Businesses were stuck in manual routines, duplication and unnecessary logins. Why update the same information in multiple places? And why should it take five clicks and three different systems to complete a simple task?
With extensive experience in object-based information management and process automation, Robert decided to create something better. Something simpler. Something smarter. The result was Onify, a platform where the user and not the systems are at the center.
We are not a traditional software company. We see ourselves as a partner, a co-player and sometimes as an extension of the customer's own team. We work closely with our customers, often together with both IT and business, to find smarter ways of working. Together we build solutions that are actually used.
We are driven not only by technology but by the desire to create societal benefits. Our experience from the public sector and process automation allows us to build solutions that really simplify everyday life.

From the first lines of code in 2015 to today's Onify. Here are some key milestones that have shaped both the platform and our offering.
The platform starts to be developed in 2015 and the first customer solution is developed for Ljusdal municipality. Onify is founded in 2017.
Between 2018 and 2021, integrations will be extended and the process engine will be upgraded to BPMN 2.0 for a stable and flexible platform.
In 2024, a new modern front-end will be launched and the Citizen Portal will be our first packaged municipal solution.
In 2025, Onify grows with new colleagues and customers. The brand is relaunched and the Resident Portal becomes Onify Residents.

Solution architect
Tony moves between customer dialog, code and strategy without losing focus. He sees the big picture, asks the right questions and solves what others cannot. A key person in both our product development and our customer projects.
Tech Lead
Erik is the problem solver who goes deep. With experience in building portals and automating processes, he can both dig into details and keep an eye on the big picture. He's particularly adept at HR and onboarding flows, bringing technology, people and processes together.
