The City of Karlskrona is now taking the next step toward a unified resident portal. Starting April 8, the resident portal will become the city’s new “My Pages.” This also provides a single point of access for the city’s residents.
Here, residents can find their cases, information, and contact details for the municipality all in one place. This gives residents a clear overview of both ongoing and completed cases. In some cases, they can even update their case directly.
Karlskrona launched its resident portal in November 2024. The municipality is now expanding the platform to include more services, more content, and an experience tailored to residents’ individual circumstances and life events. As a result, it is now taking over the role of the municipality’s “My Pages” portal.
As City Manager Håkan Petersson puts it:
“This is an important step in our efforts to make it easier to interact with the city. ‘My Pages’ brings together everything that’s relevant to you in one place, which is essential for high-quality, efficient, coordinated, and more transparent service delivery.”
Mats Hellman from the City of Karlskrona is leading the effort, with a focus on creating a solution that feels relevant and useful to residents—regardless of their situation.
For us at Onify, this is an important milestone. It shows that a unified resident portal can be created in practice—a single point of access where residents can get a comprehensive overview of their interactions with the municipality.
We look forward to continuing to develop the solution together with Karlskrona. We are also happy to assist other municipalities that wish to take the same step.
